Illuminate the Gospel through artistic excellence, and fortify Bethany Lutheran College as a sanctuary of fine arts education.
WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Lights UP! We’re glad you’re here. Lights up is comprised of a group of Bethany Lutheran College alumni who, when integral Fine Arts Programs were removed, sought to actively create and provide a solution.
Our purpose is to collect both one-time monetary gifts, and pledges to give over time to support various fine arts programs at Bethany in need of funding.
Our first goal is to provide the money needed to reinstate the Theatre Major and Minor. As time goes on, our goals will evolve.
OUR GOALS
Ensure that all Christian artists can graduate with a degree in their field at Bethany.
Implement the promotion of Bethany’s Fine Arts Department as the premier destination for Christian artists to achieve their professional goals.
Increase the cultural impact of Christian art in our secular world by increasing enrollment and Fine Arts graduates.
